Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has appeared in many television series. She is an American actor from Afghanistan from Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in the family relocated into the US. They were granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Her family was brought up within Northern Virginia and is the third child with two older sisters. Ghanizada's career in the air started by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's role as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for the Best Actress award at one of the film festivals. She was also an actor in a variety of TV shows, such as How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include an appearance as a character on the show Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in 2008 when she joined the crew of the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. She played she played Dr. Saira Bhata, an specialist in holistic health in the second season of Night Shift. Ghanizada starred as Kelly who was a Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage from 2009, and was also cast in the TV pilot Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
