Kristin Fisher joined CNN on the 20th of July, 2021 as Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher is in charge of covering all things including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin, her mother was one of NASA astronauts and an enthusiastic space lover has spent her entire childhood in the field. She served for five years working as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Trump and Biden Administrations. Kristin was also a reporter covering impeachment proceedings for the president, the 2020 Presidential campaign and the efforts of two administrations in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Kristin traveled extensively, both with the president and vice president. She was even on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin's camera skills helped her establish Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for clients of corporate nature, such as Uber Hotels and Resorts as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is a Bachelor in Science in Journalism that she obtained at Boston University. The couple's husband and daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
