Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American journalist. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in 2016. Her mother is television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. When she was just nine years old, her ability to converse in two languages allowed her to get an employment in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. Antonietta was a senior in high school, yet she had a clear idea of the path she was looking for. While deciding if Mount Union was right for her, Antonietta decided to go visit the campus. The campus was a dream for her. They also offered her the program she was interested in. After completing her studies, she was accepted to the University for a master's degree in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was student in the class, established an ongoing relationship with the student. The passion he had for journalism as well as confidence in her own abilities encouraged her. She, in turn attempted to live up to the standards he set and to not disappoint him.
