Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American journalist. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in 2016. Her mother is television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. When she was just nine years old, her ability to converse in two languages allowed her to get an employment in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. After this she was hired by she was hired by the CBS affiliate located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. In 2009, she relocated to Texas into Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent on KNVO TV 48 Univision. She was then anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given greater responsibilities. She was a reporter for all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She was promoted as anchor of the sports segment on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. Also, she was anchor of the sports segment in Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd of November, 1985. There is an older sister. She is the older sister. In 1992, her parents separated soon after. In 1995, she remarried Fabio Fajardo who was an engineer in the naval sector who passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. It was on a summer vacation that she stayed with her sibling at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered an employment. Antonietta was a senior in high school, yet she had a clear idea of the path she was looking for. While deciding if Mount Union was right for her, Antonietta decided to go visit the campus. The campus was a dream for her. They also offered her the program she was interested in. After completing her studies, she was accepted to the University for a master's degree in media studies. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was student in the class, established an ongoing relationship with the student. The passion he had for journalism as well as confidence in her own abilities encouraged her. She, in turn attempted to live up to the standards he set and to not disappoint him.
